Whilst our core business remains the Design and Construction of modern facades for older buildings. We have on occasion put our belief in the refurbishment process into practice.
We purchased a Tower Block from Walsall Council in 2003 and proceeded to carry out a total refurbishment to NHBC standards for re-sale to the open market. The project was completed and fully occupied within 12 months of the purchase and remains an excellent example of what may be achieved with old building stock. We opted for a high quality aluminium facade with integral high performance windows in favour of cheaper options in order to ensure long term desirability and minimise the whole life cost. A steel framed and glazed feature penthouse was added to modernise the buildings appearance and make use of the available roof space.
