PROJECT SUMMARY

  • Scope of Work: d+b facades originally tendered this scheme in 2014 and were not successful. Job went ahead with another contractor who installed an ACM material. We were approached by ECC in late 2019 to see if we were interested in removing panels (making fire safe) and re- cladding with an A1 Vitraual cladding panel.Main Contract direct to Client. Building is an occupied 6 storey College Building. Originally built in 1961. .Reclad in 2014 which include removal of original PC panels- 2500m2 . New replacement panels generally same size as existing.Building is rectangular on Plan
    • 2 long elevations contain ACM Panels over SFS stud wall these locations specified as 3mm Vitradual A1- s1 d0) cladding by valcan
    • Gable elevations – Perforated Aluminium Panels also to replaced with Perforated Aluminium Panels
