D+B FACADES TO REFURBISH BUILDING R1, RUTHERFORD APPLETON LABORATORY

d+b facades is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to refurbish Building R1 at the STFC’s Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

  • Client: STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
  • Programme: Commencing May 2013
  • Contract Value: £3.2m
  • Scope of Work: Aluminium rainscreen overcladding and replacement windows. Additional works include creation of a new parapet, replacement of existing patent glazing system with insulated roof and skylights, render to low-level areas and door replacement.
