DESIGN BUILD FACADES ARE ON SITE AT WEST HEATH HOSPITAL

The works are part of the NHS net zero commitment for the emissions controlled directly, net zero by 2040. West Heath Hospital is part of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The building has 3 Geriatric Wards and a ward for admin, training, and occupational health plus staff office areas. It is 2 storey constructed in a Large Panel System (LPS). 

The project comprises the design, supply and installation of a replacement External Over Cladding System to all four sides including new Triple Glazed windows. A Fabric First approach to improve the buildings thermal performance and reduce the Trust’s carbon footprint. All works are being carried out while the hospital is occupied with minimal disruption to patients and staff.
